Privacy notice
This notice explains what ADF Tree Surgeons does with the personal information you give us. We keep it short because there is not much to say.
What we collect
If you fill in the quote form we collect your name, phone number, postcode, and email address if you give one, along with whatever you tell us about the job. If you ring, WhatsApp or email us we hold that conversation and your contact details.
Why we hold it
To quote your work, to carry it out, and to invoice you afterwards. That is our legitimate interest as a business you have contacted. We also keep records of completed jobs because our insurers and HMRC require it.
What we never do
- Sell or rent your details to anybody
- Add you to a marketing list you did not ask for
- Share your information beyond our own team, except where we are legally required to
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted after twelve months. Records of completed jobs are kept for seven years to meet accounting and insurance obligations.
Cookies
This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies and runs no third-party analytics. Nothing here follows you around the internet.
Two things are worth naming. We store your cookie choice in your browser so we do not have to ask on every page, which is permitted without consent because it exists only to honour your decision. And the Google map on our contact page is not loaded unless you ask for it, because loading it shares your IP address with Google. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@adftreesurgeons.uk and we will deal with it within one month. If you are not happy with how we handle that, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
